Survey Technician
We have opportunities for Survey Technician to join our offshore team, where you can be part of a diverse team of highly qualified and motivated professionals that reflect the values and passion of Omega Subsea.
Key Tasks:
- Responsible for installation, configuration, and interfacing of survey hardware, software and sensors, in compliance with manufacturer’s manuals, operating procedures and technical guidance;
- Maintain survey equipment in accordance with manufacturer and company instructions and maintain offshore equipment inventories and spares;
- Fault-find and diagnose equipment failures and ensure that all technical faults and damage is appropriately recorded and reported;
- Participate and assist in the installation, setup, calibration and operation of survey and positioning equipment.
Qualifications:
- Formal technical background from survey systems, electronics, computer science;
- A minimum 2 years of relevant experience;
- Hold and maintain an in-date certificate in internationally recognized safety training and a valid medical certificate.
