Meet the Team: Kelly Turnbull
Kelly Turnbull is the Crewing Supervisor at Omega Subsea, supporting offshore operations with personnel planning and coordination across ROV, Deck Crew, and Survey teams. Based in Aberdeen, she plays a key role in ensuring vessels are staffed efficiently and operations run smoothly.
Kelly has more than 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, including seven years focused on ROV personnel coordination. Her career began after studying hairdressing at college, before moving into the energy industry as a receptionist. Over the years, she worked her way into operations, personnel coordination, and recruitment, eventually finding her passion in crewing and people management.
At Omega Subsea, Kelly leads a team of four Personnel Coordinators and oversees crewing activities across multiple vessels. Her days are fast-paced and involve planning offshore personnel schedules, coordinating logistics, and supporting ongoing offshore operations.
In May 2026, Kelly celebrates four years with Omega Subsea. One of the highlights of her time with the company has been witnessing the company’s growth and development firsthand.

Outside of work, Kelly is a mother of two girls and enjoys spending time with her family, especially travelling together on sunny holidays. She also has a strong passion for interior design, houses, and gardens, and often finds inspiration through photography wherever she goes.
