Meet the Team: Georgina Griffiths
Georgina Griffiths is a Personnel Coordinator at Omega Subsea, supporting operations and crewing for Normand Jarstein and Shen Da Hao. She first joined as a Survey Personnel Coordinator, where she handled logistics, travel, visa applications, and document control for offshore Survey personnel.
Originally from London, Georgina moved to Glasgow to complete her Master’s degree in Forensic Science. Scotland quickly felt like home, and she has now lived there for nine years. With a background in roles like Administrator, Personal Assistant, and Customer Service, she’s used to staying organized and making sure people have what they need.
Three years ago, she moved to Aberdeen to be closer to her partner’s family. She is now a mom of three, including twins. New to the oil and gas industry, Georgina enjoys learning something new every day and getting a better feel for how different parts of the business connect.
What she values most about Omega Subsea is the flexibility and support for family life. Highlights so far include representing the company at Ocean Business, visiting the Stavanger office in Norway, and joining a crewing teambuilding event in Copenhagen.
Outside of work, Georgina loves making memories with her kids, from everyday adventures to planning future trips. She also enjoys live music and soccer, and she supports Aberdeen Football Club. She often travels to London to visit family and friends, and she’s currently planning her wedding.
