ROV Asset Engineer
Omega Subsea UK is currently looking for a ROV Asset Engineer to join our busy and growing team. This role is full-time and based in our Westhill office in Aberdeen.
The ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) Asset Engineer is responsible for managing and maintaining a comprehensive account of all main ROV assets. This includes ensuring asset visibility, tracking maintenance and component records, and overseeing asset upgrades. The role requires close collaboration with ROV Engineers and other stakeholders to support asset integrity management in line with industry and IMCA standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Document and track all key system assets.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure operational readiness.
- Maintain accurate asset records, including maintenance logs, equipment history, and certification documents.
- Support audits and inspections of ROV equipment.
- Liaise with ROV Engineers and manufacturers regarding Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs).
Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar position or Technical experience within the ROV industry.

- Willingness to travel as required – occasional.
